Lords Committee praises Bribery Act

Scales of Justice ( Lady of Justice) of the Central Criminal Court fondly known as The Old Bailey in the city of London, England, UK

The Select Committee on the Bribery Act has published its post-legislative scrutiny report, which concludes the Act is “exemplary”.  Enquiries and evidence have shown it to be a piece of law that works well and that other countries should follow. The only real criticism was to highlight that the Government should give better guidance to SMEs on how to export compliantly. And, as ever, lack of co-operation between enforcement agencies can be a problem.
