EIOPA is consulting on draft guidelines regarding outsourcing to cloud service providers. The areas covered by the draft guidelines include:
- guidance on determining whether or not cloud services should be considered to be outsourcing;
- contractual requirements; and
- principal based guidance in this area for national supervisory authorities.
The consultation will run until 30 September.
