EBA is consulting on a proposed revision of its guidelines on major incident reporting under PSD2. It wants to make the process better, simpler and more streamlined, and reduce the number of operational incidents that will be reported while improving the meaningfulness of reports that are made.
Among the proposals are a new incident classification “breach of security measures”, and thresholds for changes to thresholds for calculating transactions and payment service users affected.
It asks for comments by 14 December.
