FATF has updated its recommendations in respect of:
- Recommendation 1 and its interpretative note, to broaden the existing requirement specifically to require relevant entities to identify and assess the risks of potential breaches, non-implementation or evasion of proliferation financing sanctions and take action to mitigate the risks; and
- Recommendation 2 and its interpretative note, to make minor consequential changes resulting from the change to Recommendation 1.
