EIOPA has updated its FAQs on the IDD. The 8 new questions cover:
- the appropriateness assessment
- product oversight and governance;
- adaptation of existing product;
- protect testing and review for existing products;
- manufacturer’s responsibility for adequate product oversight and governance;
- organisational requirements;
- application of IDD when providing advice on existing contracts; and
- application of IDD to captives
