EBA has published for consultation draft RTS on a central AML/CTF database. The idea is for the database to contain details of weaknesses in systems and controls within individual firms identified by their national regulator. Using the database, EBA will be able to see, what the problems have been and what remedial action has been taken, and this will help make supervision more effective and targeted in the future.
Consultation closes on 17 June.
