IAIS has published application papers on:
- resolution powers and planning; the paper looks at the objectives and concepts of resolution of insurers, entry into resolution, resolution powers and plans, resolvability assessments and cooperation and coordination; and
- supervision of control functions: the paper looks at how control functions are identified and mapped to the three lines model, independence and stature of functions, the relevance of outsourcing, combination of control functions and group wide functions and combining internal audit with second line functions.
The papers are aimed at helping supervisors address issues relating to these matters and supervise in line with existing other guidance.
