FATF has published a paper looking at the opportunities and challenges of new technologies for AML and CFT. The report looks at emerging and available technology based solutions, and the conditions, policies and procedures that need to be in place to use the technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of AML/CFT – as well as the hurdles to successful implementation.
