Treasury has updated its advisory notice on high right third countries for AML purposes. The notices follow the FATF updates, and the list replicates the FATF list. Post-Brexit, Treasury now included the list in legislation, and the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) No 2))High Risk Countries) Regulations 2021 take effect from 13 July to amend the Schedule in the previous version. Treasury has also updated its advisory notice on ML/TF controls in overseas jurisdictions.
