FSB has examined approaches to cyber incident reporting and found fragmentation across sectors and jurisdictions in terms of what should be reported for a cyber incident, how impact and severity is measured, reporting timeframes and how cyber incident information is used. It wants to see a greater harmonisation of regulatory reporting which will promote better financial stability. It will develop a detailed plan for this before the end of 2021.
