The PSR has set out its latest plans to force the financial sector and others involved in the digital ecosystem to prevent APP fraud. It is consulting on plans to:
- require the UK’s largest banking groups to publish data on their performance, including reimbursement levels;
- improve intelligence sharing; and
- made reimbursement mandatory for victims of scams, once the law allows this.
The consultation is open until 14 January 2022.
