Michelle Crotty, Chief Capability Officer at the SFO, has spoken on its successes since Lisa Osofsky became its Director and looking ahead to Nick Ephgrave’s upcoming tenure. She also noted the increased powers SFO is acquiring both to be able to compel information in fraud cases and as a result of the change to the identification doctrine. She also discussed the proposed failure to prevent fraud offence, but not in detail.
