The International Regulatory Strategy group has published a report which makes 7 recommendations around how a globally transparent and effective beneficial ownership regime can be achieved. The recommendations focus on risk-proportionate standards, guidance for professional services providers and on putting in place an internationally consistent UBO threshold. Ultimately, the ideal would be an international UBO register.
