Building on its 2022 discussion paper, the PRA is now consulting on its approach to policy. The paper sets out the PRA’s approach on:
- its primary and secondary objectives, including its new secondary competitiveness and growth objective;
- international engagement and collaboration, including implementing international standards;
- the so-called ‘policy cycle’ – this is the PRA’s approach to creating and maintaining its policy framework through four stages – initiation, development, implementation and evaluation;
- the PRA Rulebook and the four principles that will guide how the PRA develops the Rulebook over time – accessibility, efficiency, usability and clarity.
