FCA has welcomed the launch of the ICMA and IRSG voluntary code for ESG ratings and data products providers. It has encouraged all relevant providers to sign up to it.
The Code sets principles on:
- Good Governance
- Securing Quality (systems and controls)
- Conflicts of Interest
- Transparency
- Confidentiality (systems and controls)
- Engagement (systems and controls)
