Following the publication of the Future of Payments Review, Treasury has accepted the recommendation to publish a National Payments Vision.
The Vision will constitute the government’s full response to the Future of Payments Review and will provide clarity on the government’s ambition for UK payments. Building on the extensive work undertaken by the Review, the government will undertake a comprehensive programme of engagement on key issues and will work with industry to gather views.
Treasury intends to publish the Vision as soon as possible later this year.
