The PSR is asking businesses for their thoughts on how the remedies put in place to make it easier to compare prices on card-acquiring services and to switch providers are working. It is seeking views on:
- how easy businesses are finding it to locate and use the Online Quotation Tool;
- whether businesses have seen the now-required trigger messages and if they have ever acted on them; and
- whether businesses have had any difficulties in hiring, or ending the hire of, POS terminals since the 18 month contract limit was imposed.
It will use the responses in the next stage of its work.
