FCA establishes US and APAC presence

For the first time, the FCA has established a presence in the US and Asia-Pacific.

In the US, Tash Miah has joined the British Embassy in Washington DC. Miah will work closely with the Department for Business and Trade to further UK-US financial services policy and regulatory cooperation. She will also lead on supporting US financial firms to navigate UK regulation.

Miah has worked in the FCA’s international division since 2022, covering non-bank financial intermediation, and leading the financial stability engagement group.

In Australia, Camille Blackburn will establish a regional office as the FCA’s Asia-Pacific director from July 2025. She will focus on supporting firms to navigate regulation to enter the UK market or raise capital, and provide UK firms with support expanding into APAC.

Blackburn has been FCA director of wholesale buyside since 2022.
