Blackthorn Finance Ltd, an authorised payment institution, has entered special administration. The FCA had imposed restrictions and an asset requirement on the firm in late 2023 and the firm had entered members voluntary liquidation in August 2024. The liquidators have now reached the view that the firm did not have sufficient assets to meet all creditor claims.
