The FCA is waiting for the High Court to lift the freeze on its awarding a contract to its chosen bond consolidated tape provider. The FCA had run a tender process and made its choice of provider in the summer, but then received a legal challenge to the decision, which has delayed the award. It has reached agreement on lifting the freeze and plans to sign the contract with Etrading Software as soon as permitted. The tape launches in June 2026.
