FCA reviews support to bereaved customers

The FCA is to carry out a review of how consumer investment firms are supporting bereaved customers, following research that shows that not even half the customers surveyed felt they had received the right support.

The review will include all relevant firms, including platforms, advisers and wealth managers, and will look at customer experience from the moment they reportĀ  bereavement through to final settlement or investment transfer.

The FCA will contact selected firms and publish findings later this year.
