Sarah Breedon has spoken on how agentic AI is helping to transform cyber risk, markets and payments, and how the BoE is using it. She considered:
- the drivers of transition and financial stability risks;
- the financial stability implications of an agentic system and how central banks should respond speaking of cyber capabilities, agentic trading in financial markets and agentic payments and commerce; and
- the need for strong policy frameworks, scenario analysis and cooperation to adapt to the transition.
