FCA has published the second edition of the Financial Services Regulatory Initiatives Forum’s Regulatory Initiatives Grid. The grid, first published in May, is aimed to help firms see upcoming regulatory work. Publication of the new edition is an attempt to return to some form of normality. It features, unsuprisingly, work to prepare for LIBOR transition and Brexit. Among other key initiatives are:
- Open Banking implementation, policy statements on operational resilience and the FinTech strategy review, all due in Q1 2021;
- Breathing space introduction in May 2021; and
- SCA implementation in September 2021.
The publication also gives more detail on initiatives specific to particular market sectors.
