The Commission has launched a public consultation seeking views on the impact that the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2) has had on:
- innovation and competition in the market for payment services;
- the way in which strong customer authentication and contactless payments operate;
- the information provided to payment service users by payment service providers; and
- data sharing to facilitate open finance.
The consultation closes on 2 August 2022.
