In the quarter ending September 2024, the FCA commissioned 14 skilled persons reports:
- 6 reports related to consumer investments, 2 to insurance, 2 to wholesale markets (buy-side) and 4 to wholesale markets (sell-side);
- 1 report related to each of client assets and safeguarding, conduct of business, technology and information management, and CBEST penetration testing, 4 to controls and risk management frameworks, and 6 to financial crime; and
- 3 of the reports were issued to dedicated supervision firms, and 11 to portfolio supervision firms.
In the quarter ending December 2024, the FCA commissioned 13 skilled persons reports:
- 1 report related to consumer finance, 6 to consumer investments, 2 to insurance, 2 to payments and digital assets, and 2 to wholesale markets (sell-side);
- 2 reports related to governance, accountability, strategy and culture, 3 to controls and risk management frameworks, 3 to conduct of business, and 5 to financial crime; and
- All 13 reports were issued to portfolio supervision firms.
