HM Treasury has published a Call for Evidence as part of its Independent Review into Access to Banking Services. The review is looking to:
- identify which in-person banking services are essential or important to consumers;
- understand which groups need these services;
- assess whether detriment is being caused and if so its extent; and
- review the current provision of in-person banking services and the likely trajectory.
Responses are needed by 20 July.
