FOS has published complaints figures for July – September 2020 (Q2 2020). It:
- received 69,000 complaints in total
- received over 5,900 Covid-related complaints
- referred over 9,000 complaints to an Ombudsman
- upheld 41% of complaints excluding PPI and 32% including PPI
- upheld 88% of guarantor loan complaints
- received 391 complaints from SMEs – a 200% increase on the first quarter
- saw an increase in complaints about credit cards
- has begun to resolve some SME complaints about BBLS and CBILS
- has seen fewer PPI complaints than expected.
