The FCA, in conjunction with the West Midlands Police, the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit and Police Scotland, has executed search warrants in two investigations involving unauthorised debt and claims management activities. The operations resulted in the arrests of two individuals in Birmingham and Huntingdon.
The search operations were conducted because the individuals in question are suspected of being involved in debt and claims management activities when they are not authorised by the FCA to do so. The two individuals were interviewed under caution and then released while the FCA’s investigations continue.
