FCA updates on diversity

In a speech by Christopher Woolard, FCA has called on firms to increase their efforts to integrate diversity and inclusion principles in their business frameworks.  While things are moving in the right direction, Mr Woolard said much work is still to be done. He particularly noted that the percentage of woman in senior management below Board level has increased only 1.5% over the past 10 years. He also noted that FCA has seen a noticeable increase in reports about issues such as discrimination and sexual harassment and reminded firms that non-financial misconduct is nevertheless misconduct.
