FCA updates on cancellations and refunds guidance

FCA has updated its webpages and finalised guidance on how it expects credit and debit card and insurance providers to deal with requests for refunds following cancellation of trips, events and holidays as a result of the pandemic. Its original guidance, issued in October 2020, expires on 2 April 2021.  FCA is proposing to extend that guidance so it remains in place until it is varied or revoked. It asks for comments by 26 February.
