EU Commission consults public on impact of PSD2 and open finance

The Commission has launched a public consultation seeking views on the impact that the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2) has had on:

• innovation and competition in the market for payment services;
• the way in which strong customer authentication and contactless payments operate;
• the information provided to payment service users by payment service providers; and
• data sharing to facilitate open finance.

The consultation closes on 2 August 2022.
