FCA has published the complaints data for H1 2022, which shows:
- a 1% increase in complaints from the previous period (1.88m complaints)
- the biggest increase was in the decumulation and pensions group (15%) with a 5% increase in insurance and pure protection complaints. Banking and credit card, and home finance complaints fell slightly;
- current accounts remain the most complained about product, but the numbers are quite constant
- noticeable increases in general insurance packaged multi-products, travel and motor and transport complaints
