FATF publishes international standards on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism & proliferation

FATF has published its international standards on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism & proliferation. The recommendations contain a comprehensive and consistent framework of measures for countries to implement with the view of combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as the financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The FATF recommendations set an international standard for countries to implement through measures adapted to their particular circumstances, diverse legal, administrative and operational frameworks and different financial systems.
