PSR speaks on delivering the National Payments Vision

David Geale – PSR managing director at and FCA executive director for payments and digital finance – has given a speech on delivering National Payments Vision at the Payments Regulation and Innovation Summit 2026.

The speech emphasised the importance of collaboration across payment authorities, and that banking hubs are part of ensuring the UK system caters to diverse needs. It also noted innovation developments in adopting Open Banking, and the new regulatory regime for crypto.
