The FCA has published its regular quarterly consultation on miscellaneous amendments to its Handbook.
The proposed amendments include:
- Consequential amendments to CASS to reflect changes to the definition of designated investment business to fact in the incoming crypto regime;
- Amending the rules for the new Public Offers and Admissions to Trading regime to clarify the scope of certain obligations and exemptions;
- Making targeted changes to COLL to reflect changes to the revised SORP for authorised funds;
- Increasing the clearing threshold for commodity derivates under UK EMIR to ensure it remains appropriate with higher commodity prices in the market;
- Making minor amendments to ENFG, ICOBS, CONC and the UK Listing Rules
The majority of the consultation closes on 13 April 2026. However, for comments on the amendments to the Public Offers and Admissions regime, the consultation is open until 23 March, and for comments on the amendments to the UK Listing rules, the consultation is open until 20 April.
