Concept Capital Group enters administration, halting FCA enforcement proceedings

Concept Capital Group Ltd (CCG) has entered administration. Joanne Hammond and Jason Ainge of BTG were appointed joint administrators of the firm on 9 March 2026.

In July 2025, the FCA had announced High Court enforcement proceedings against the firm, Riverrun Consulting Limited, Gateridge Consulting Limited, and six individuals in relation to an alleged unauthorised investment scheme which invested in static homes and took more than £23m in consumer investments. CCG has been subject to a temporary asset freezing order since then.

CCG had promoted investments in static homes, claiming that they would be let to Government-backed social housing placements. Investors were promised fixed returns and told the scheme was supported by the Government, claims that the FCA considered false or misleading.

The administration was not initiated by the FCA, but puts the regulator’s proceedings against the firm on hold. The joint administrators will now take control of CCG and investors’ claims will be dealt with as part of the formal administration process.

The FCA’s claim against the majority of the other original defendants – Gateridge Consulting, and individuals Ian Anthony Elliott, Adrian Felix, Ayub Swaibu, Edmund Brew, Ernest Kargbo (also known as Ernest Moore), Raymondip Bedi (also known as Martin Swann) – will continue.

In separate proceedings relating to crypto investment fraud, Mr Bedi was sentenced to over 5 years imprisonment following guilty pleas to conspiracy to defraud, conspiracy to breach the general prohibition and money laundering offences.

The FCA has discontinued its claim against Rivverun Consulting (which was owned and directed by Mr Bedi) for a number of reasons, including that the company is now dissolved.
