BoE and FCA reaffirm FMI oversight cooperation for

BoE and FCA have reaffirmed the arrangements under their Memorandum of Understanding on the supervision of FMIs.

The regulators consider that the arrangements remain effective, highlighted recent collaborations in response to market disruption, supporting innovation with initiatives such as tokenisation, the Digital Securities Sandbox and T+1 settlement, and ensuring policy development such as in relation to the UK EMIR review and operational incident, outsourcing and third-party reporting policy for FMIs.
