Pensions Dashboard outlines responses to daily MaPS reporting proposals

The Pensions Dashboard Programme has published the outcome of its reporting standards consultation, which proposed implementing daily reporting of data to the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) via an API.

Responses indicated mixed levels of confidence in the deliverability of implementation by the proposed 30 November 2026 deadline, with concerns about heavy dependence on MaPS delivery API, testing tools, guidance and support. Other challenges identified included teed for stable technical specifications, capacity constraints in the integration testing process, the need for further details of test content and requirements and receiving timely support.

Broadly, most respondents agreed with the principle of early voluntary and staggered adoption in advance of the mandatory deadline. However, several again noted the above risks and dependencies on MaPS to deliver the necessary information and a stable test harness (now provided) and test environment.
