The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has published its 2025 annual report.
The report highlights the 40th anniversary of the ABI, and sets out the ABI’s crucial role in shaping the UK’s growth and competitiveness strategy. It also notes that:
- ABI’s efforts in motor insurance resulted in a reduction of premiums and the recovery of stolen vehicles valued at £1.44m;
- ABI engaged internationally, signing an MoU with Bermuda’s BILTIR and participating in global insurance discussions;
- ABI’s ‘Pay Your Pension Some Attention’ campaign reached over 500,000 people, promoting pension engagement; and
- ABI’s work on tax reforms ensured a competitive tax regime, with no increase in Insurance Premium Tax and engagement on global tax developments.
