Emma RadmoreFCA has reopened the TPR window for EEA firms and fund managers that have not previously done so to make notifications if they wish to use the regime. The window will close on 30 December. Fund managers are also able to update notifications they have previously submitted – to do so they should tell FCA by 8 December that they wish to do so, and will then be able to do so from 14 December. If they don’t update the notification, any funds marketed since the original notification will not be included in the temporary permission. In the meantime, they should follow the current process to notify new funds for marketing, making sure they allow time for notifications to be processed so that new funds will be eligible for the TPR.
