FCA provides update on the Woodford investigation

The Treasury Committee has published correspondence with the FCA in relation the FCA’s investigation into the collapse of the LF Woodford Equity Income Fund.

In its update letter, the FCA advises that all key evidence has been gathered and that it is deciding whether to take action, and if so, what action should be taken and against whom.

The Treasury Committee’s response confirms that the investigation remains a matter of keen interest to the Committee and urges the FCA to ensure that the investigation and any subsequent regulatory action is sufficiently resourced to ensure as swift a conclusion as possible.
