JMLSG has published the finalised revisions to the syndicated lending chapter in Part II of its guidance, following its December 2021 consultation. The new content confirmed that in a low risk scenario, each lender will of course have to carry out its own risk assessment and CDD, but if any lender does not have all the information it requires at the time it needs to become a lender of record, it may consider completing its due diligence as soon as possible after that.
It has submitted the chapter to Treasury for formal endorsement.
