TPT launches ‘gold standard’ for climate transition plans

The Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) has published its Disclosure Framework and accompanying Implementation Guidance. The Framework makes recommendations for companies and financial institutions to develop gold-standard transition plans and the guidance sets out how to develop and when, where and how to disclose a transition plan.

The Framework and Guidance are open for public consultation until 28 February 2023.

The TPT has also launched a Sandbox for firms to test implementation.
