New AR rules take effect

The FCA’s reforms to the appointed representative regime have come into force and the FCA has published a new webpage setting out information on the s165 requests it will be sending to principal firms. As a reminder, firms will receive the request between 8 and 12 December 2022 and will have until 28 February 2023 to respond.

The webpage provides information for firms on how to complete the form and sets out answers to common questions on the new rules.
