The Haiti (Sanctions) Regulations 2022 will take effect from 28 December, following a UN Security Council Resolution. OFSI has published guidance to accompany the Regulations which will, among other things, include on the list of Designated Persons everyone named in the UNSC Resolution, as well as restricting financial and brokerage services, alongside a set of trade sanctions.
