Market Watch looks at DRSP service

Edition 72 of FCA’s Market Watch looks at the quality of service that Data Reporting Services Providers give.  Given the importance of DSRPs to the functioning of wholesale markets and promoting transparency and integrity, FCA outlined to the sector its key expectations in a portfolio letter last May.  It also then sent a survey to all DSRPs and a representative sample of their clients to assess service quality. Overall, feedback was positive, but FCA sees some ways in which some can improve in the areas of:

  • connectivity
  • data quality
  • fees
  • unregulated services
  • barriers to switching and
  • overall customer experience.
