FCA has published its quarterly data for Q3 2022 on reports from whistleblowers. Between July-September 2022 it received 291 reports containing 734 allegations, mainly through its online reporting function, but with over 50 by email and phone. Over half of the whistleblowers were happy to provide their identity. 120 allegations related to compliance, and around 100 to each of fitness and propriety and culture. The other popular category was TCF followed by systems and controls. FCA received just under 40 whistleblown reports about unauthorised business.
