The Parliamentary Committee on the Edinburgh Reforms is currently accepting evidence, and held a formal session on 1 February at which Sir John Vickers and Sir Keith Skeoch gave evidence on ring-fencing. The evidence is aimed at helping the Committe to explore the need for reform of the regime and the pros and cons of the Government proposals for its relaxation.
