No crypto ATM operators are currently registered with FCA for AML supervision, so FCA is cracking down on all unregistered machines and their operators. Following a joint operation with West Yorkshire Police, it has just conducted an exercise around Leeds which resulted in several live crypto ATMs being located. The police issued warning letters requiring the operators to cease and desist and shared their findings with FCA. FCA is now reviewing the reports and will consider further action.
