CMA has published the 11th version of its banking customer satisfaction survey. The surveys rank providers of personal and small business current accounts against a number of questions, including how likely they would be to recommend their provider to another person and the quality of various service provisions. For the year to June 2023, Monzo and Starling Bank ranked first and second for both personal and business current accounts. Virgin Money appeared in the bottom 3 for both. The personal banking survey covered around 1,000 customers of each of the 16 largest providers in Great Britain, and around 500 of the 11 largest providers in Northern Ireland.
